Modern Eyes Optometry: for the Gift of Clear Vision

One of the most precious gifts you have is your vision. Neglecting eye health can lead to problems with your sight. Regular eye exams from your optometrist in Carlsbad can help protect your vision. At Modern Eyes Optometry, you benefit from quality eye care services designed to give you optimal eye health.

Why Choose Modern Eyes Optometry?

Led by Dr. Howard Wang, our clinic offers comprehensive vision care services to residents in Carlsbad and surrounding communities. Working with a full service optometry facility can save you time and money in meeting your eye care needs. We work mainly by appointments but are available for emergencies that may arise.

At Modern Eyes Optometry, we take eye health seriously and strive to provide personalized services that meet your specific needs. As most people schedule an eye exam only once a year, we make this time count by ensuring you obtain thorough, professional, and accurate services. If you've been experiencing problems with your eyes such as blurred vision, pain, excess tearing, etc., we'll check for possible causes to these symptoms. In addition to visual acuity tests, we’ll examine your eyes for irregularities in focus and movement and check for early warning signs of eye diseases.

If there are changes to your vision or eye problems that need correcting, we’ll inform you right away so you can get immediate treatment. We’ll also take time to answer any questions you may have about our tests, procedures, or treatments.

Services We Provide

As a full service eye care facility, we offer complete eye health and vision exams as well as visual refraction treatments in the form of prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. We also test for eye conditions and diseases such as dry eye, cataracts, and glaucoma and provide pre- and post-operative care for LASIK and other eye surgeries.

Eyeglasses and Contact Lenses

For your convenience, our optical department features an extensive lineup of name-brand eyeglass frames and lenses to suit your personal taste and budget. You can choose from such top-of-the-line brands as Tiffany, Etnia Barcelona, and Mykita, just to name a few.

If you prefer contact lenses, we’ll give you a separate contact lens exam to ensure your eyes are compatible with contacts and to obtain the most accurate prescription. This exam will also reveal if you have eye issues that rule out certain types of lenses. We’ll explain your contact lens options and help you select the one most appropriate for your eye health and lifestyle.
